Engr Mustafa Sale Abdullahi is the candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for Zungur/Galambi and Miri for 2023 Bauchi State House Of Assembly. He spoke to Idriss Abdullahi on why he has ventured into politics.
What is your manifesto?
I intend, if elected into the Bauchi State House of Assembly on the platform APGA, l will sponsor bills on education, youths empowerment, health and other critical areas that affecting humanity, especially the down trodden in the state and by extension my constituents in Zungur, Galambi and Miri In Bauchi Local Government area.
Once l got elected l will make sure that l have channelled my constituency allowance on youths and women empowerment and effectively touch lives of the masses in a positive ways.
In the area of Scholarship, l will double my efforts towards given scholarship to the people of my constituency once lam voted into power.
Briefly tell us your history?
I’m an indigene of Honga in Zungur District of Bauchi local government area, Bauchi State. l attended my primary school in Kusada town and had my secondary education at GSS Liman Katagum all in Bauchi local government area.
I came from a poor family background where we are eight. My parents’ major occupation is both farming and business.
I joined spare parts business eight years ago, and still counting. l am also into poultry farming. I buy and sell trucks and other properties business across the country.
So, having come from less privileged family, I am contesting this seat in order to touch the lives of poor people in a positive way, as l mentioned earlier.

How confident, you and your party are, in terms of wining this election?
I am 100% confident that my political party, the All progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA) by the grace it will be the party to win all elections with landslide victory across Nigeria. This is because it is a party that belongs to the grassroots with genuine interest to uplift the living standards of the Nigerians, as well as strong political will to support all the norms and values of democratic processes. The party is full of ideas and wisdom as well as compassion and passion for the Nigerians.
And the leadership of our party both at the National, state, local government and at ward level are all doing well. The party is also peaceful. l must commend the efforts of party leadership so far, and Insha Allah in the forthcoming elections we are going to coast home victory.
APGA is the third largest political party in Africa, and by God’s grace, we will climb number one this time. I urged all Nigerians to shun PDP and APC because they have woefully failed.
As young man,what actually, inspires you to join politics at this age?
To serve the people, the poor and less privileged in my community and state in general by creating jobs, paying their medical bills and other community services.
In your capacity what have you done so far?
l have sponsored the treatment and surgery for over one thousand five hundred people in my constituency and still paying bills of school fees and scholarships to large number of young people. Many are currently in schools. l also constructed mosques, and renovated some. l paid for the clearing and cleaning of shrubs and grass of my community cemetery. So as you can see l have been contributing towards development and peace of the people of my area and state at large.
I have the passion to assist people because l was raised from very poor background family, so God has answered my prayers and lam now the bread winner in my family.
I must also commended my campaign team, my personal secretary and their assistants for supporting me with brilliant ideas in helping the masses.
Tell us about your spare part company. How is that helping the community?
My company Mass marks motor spare parts Dealers, has over one hundred and fifty workers under my supervision and we usually pay them salaries at the end of every blessed months.
Tell us about this your foundation?
I started it with two hundred thousand naira in my Honga village at Zungur District. Through this foundation l was able to assist and intervened in the lives of many people in my community. l procured drugs for hospital, fumigation of grasses in the cemetery. l was able to purchased amplifiers for mosques in my area. So l now join politics with the intention of helping the people even more. If given the chance I will bring about development, peace, unity and prosperity of my people.
I will also ensure that all graduates in my community get jobs. I will assist our rural farmers with seeds, herbicides and other fumigants to grow their crops healthy and effectively. This shall be one my primary focus once l got elected into the Bauchi state House of Assembly on the platform of APGA by this 2023 election, Insha Allah.
Do you have any message your supporters,voters?
l urged them to remain steadfast in prayers and also obey laws of the land during and after casting their vote. lam please begging them to vote APGA top down.
