My local, foreign trips not for fun- Taraba Governor Kefas

Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas says his local and foreign trips are not for fun but to attract investors to harness the rich natural and human potentials in the state.

Governor Kefas made this Known at the Christian Reformed Church-Nigeria, CRCN-LCC Wukari on Monday during Christmas Service.
He disclosed that he was only trying to bring people with the capacity to key into relevant sectors of the economy to advance the State inline with his mantra of ‘Moving Taraba forward’.

“My administration is committed to changing the narratives of the State and place it on the pedestal of growth and development, it is
through the spirit of unity and resilience that Taraba State will have dominion over its challenges,” the Governor maintained.

The Governor expressed the need for a high sense of kindness, compassion, love, and togetherness during the Christmas period.

Dr. Kefas said it is his responsibility to redeem the youth indulging in the consumption of hard drugs and substance abuse saying that he has engaged the services of specialists to assist him in the task.

The Pastor in charge of CRCN-LCC Wukari, Reverent Ishaya Yakubu Tsojon lauded Governor Kefas over the successes of his administration within its few months in office.

In a sermon on the topic “Christmas Messages”, the clergy who read from the book of Luke Chapter 2, verses 8 to 11, described Christmas as a planned salvation work of God to redeem mankind.

Highlight of the service was Special prayer for Governor Kefas, his wife and Senator for Taraba South Senatorial District, David Jimkuta among others.
