N16bn Lafia flyover: Triacta engineer assures Nasarawa governor of high standard work

The Management of Triacta Nigeria Limited which is handling the multi-billion naira flyover and underpass project in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, has reaffirmed its commitment of timely completion.

He further assured the Governor Abdullahi Sule that the ongoing project in the state valued at over N16 billion naira will be delivered according to the specifications.

When governor Sule visited the project site to inspect the level of work done so far at the ongoing work in Lafia, the state capital on Sunday.

According to him, Triacta Nigeria Limited which is a leading constructions company is committed to delivering top-notch quality and speedy completion of the projects.

Engineer Daou, who is in charge of Nasarawa, Benue, and Plateau states, however, added that with the pace of construction and the securing of necessary funding, it is projected that the project will be completed ahead of its original schedule.

He, however, revealed that the visit by the Nasarawa State Governor to the ongoing flyover and underpasses project in Lafia was a testament of the governor’s commitment to provide dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

His words, “This project, valued at over N16 billion naira, is a significant investment in the state’s infrastructure and will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the local economy and community.”

“The governor’s visible appreciation for the level of quality maintained on the project is a huge endorsement for Triacta Nigeria Limited and it will be great news for the people of Nasarawa State who are eagerly awaiting the project’s completion,” Engineer Daou noted.

Speaking during his assessment visit at the ongoing flyover and underpass project, governor Abdullahi Sule appreciated the level of work done so far, attributing the quality of work to the exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication of Engineer Fersan Daou, the Area Manager in charge of Nasarawa, Benue, and Plateau states.

The Governor, therefore, called on the citizens of the and road users to give maximum cooperation to the company so to enable it complete the work at stipulated time.

Sule, then urged the public to bear with any temporary inconveniences that may arise from the construction, while soliciting their support for the government’s efforts to enhance urban infrastructure.

His words, “I am happy with the level of work done so far. On our part we will give you the necessary support to ensure that you complete this project as scheduled.”

Our correspondent reports that, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly had earlier visited the ongoing project and expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of work.

The Chairman, House Committee on Nasarawa Urban Development Board and Member representing Uke/Karshi Constituency, Musa Saidu Gude (SDP) gave the commendation when he led other members of the Committee on an assessment visit to the project site.

Earlier, Engineer Wada Yahaya, the Managing Director, Nasarawa State Urban Development Board said once finished, the flyover and underpass will stand out not only in the state but throughout the North Central region.

Engineer Yahaya explained that by the time the projected is completed it would effectively reducing traffic congestion, increasing safety for residents, and enhancing connectivity throughout the area.

Our correspondent also reports that the Lafia flyover and underpass are not just essential infrastructures; they are pivotal in enhancing urban mobility and improving the overall quality of life.

It would be recalled that in May last year, Governor Sule reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing infrastructure by approving a 1.2-kilometer combination of the flyover and underpass in Lafia.

A staff of the company who spoke on the condition of anonymous told our correspondent that Engineer Daou is the most experienced and hardworking manager in the history of Triacta’s Nigeria Limited, adding that he has a deep understanding of the company’s operations and has consistently demonstrated his ability to deliver high standard work.

According to him, his expertise and guidance have been invaluable to the project team, and his commitment to excellence work has also been evident throughout the project’s duration.
