N2.5m, musical instruments up for grabs at constituency 2023 Christmas carol competition – Rep Dr. Kama promises

Member representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives, Dr. Nkemkanma Kama has promised to put smile in the faces of any choir group that will emerge best at the 2023 Christmas Carol competition.
The announcement of a reward of not only N2.5 million but also a set of Yamaha musical drum to the winning choir was contained in a statement signed by the lawmaker and shared on his Facebook page recently.
The statement further announced other stunning prizes for participating churches and individuals.
It noted that the first runner up will get N1.5million and a set of Yamaha keyboard while the second runner up will have N1millon.
The announcement indicated that each choir is required to present any Christmas song and will be judged by panel of individuals, adding that each participating choir must have at least 25 persons as members.
It informed that the Christmas Carol musical concert is scheduled to take place on 23rd Dec. 2023 at Girls Model Secondary School Ishiagu, Ivo Local Government Area by 6pm.

The invitation extended to all churches in Ivo Local Government Area. The theme of the Carol is culled from Matthew 1: 23: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel which means God with us”.
The registration which started on October, 10, 2023 and ends on November 12, 2023 as interested choir are advised to send their church details to Johnson or contact him on the phone number: 08137705777.
