NAPTIP declares 2 wanted for human trafficking offences

Two men have been declared wanted by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), for human trafficking offences.
The suspects, Linus Okeke (36) from Abia State and Godwin Nomyange, (34) from Benue State, were arrested by NAPTIP, were unfortunately aided by ex–officers of the Agency to escape from custody.
The officers were among those dismissed and will soon be prosecuted for their culpability in the crime.
The Director-General, NAPTIP, Dame Julie Okah-Donli, called on the general public to please report any knowledge of their whereabouts to the Agency, or the nearest police station.
“They are considered a threat to the society and should be made to face the full arms of the law. The Agency enjoins anyone with useful information to call 07030000203.”
