Nasarawa Deputy Governor denies withdrawing from governorship race
Agara, Nasarawa State Deputy Governor
The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr Silas Agara has debunked the reports making the rounds of his purported plans to withdraw from the governorship race under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A statement made available to Apex News by Abdullahi Adokwe Ladan, Director, Information and Strategy of Agara Campaign Organization, said they observed with dismay the continuous act of sabotage and blackmail being perpetrated by some political jobbers whose aim was to malign and blackmail the deputy governor.
The statement said that impostors go about calling some of Agara’s close associates and supporters to mislead them about his plans to withdraw from the 2019 governorship bid.
The statement urged security agencies to be on the look-out for such impostors whose target was to cause disaffection among the political class and create confusion ahead of the primaries of the APC.
