Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule on Tuesday delivered a key note address in the just concluded 7th Africa Day Home Grown School Feeding Programme in Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
Organised by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Abuja in collaboration with African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD)
Represented by Hon Imran Usman Jibrin SSA Humanitarian Services/Focal Person NSIP Nasarawa State.
The governor ceaselessly thank the organisers for setting up agenda in the country that has direct bearing on human lives especially for the younger people in the society.
The programme which drew in attendance the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar, the country representative of AUDA-NEPAD and Head of Human Capital Development Mrs Fati N’zi Hassane.
Had also in attendance is the National Coordinator NSIP Dr Bindir, Representative of the African Union, Representative of Foreign Donors, Federal Commissioner for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim among others.
Worthy of note, through the concerted efforts of the governor of Nasarawa State Engineer Abdullahi Sule, beneficiaries of the Nasarawa State Conditional Cash Transfers Programme (NASCCTP) with N5000 as monthly stipends popularly known as “Kudin A A Sule” recently invited the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Humanitarian Services/ Focal Person NSIP Hon Imran Usman Jibrin to unveiled a billboard, in support and appreciation of Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule commitment for bringing succour to them and improving their welfare and wellbeing via social investment.
The jubilant beneficiaries who appreciated Governor Sule through the billboard read “Obi Local Government beneficiaries of Kudin A A Sule Strongly Support You For Second Tenure 2023″ was in recognition and support of his administration’s drive to cater to their welfare in the state.
Apex News Exclusive report that since the introduction of the programme in Nasarawa state, women and youths of the state have restraint from restiveness and key into meaningful engagement that can add value to their living.
Honourable Imran a consumate politician have also ensured the judicious and transparent distribution of the packages across the local government areas in the three senatorial zones of Nasarawa State.
