Angbolo, while applauding President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope interventions, said it became necessary to educate citizens, especially young people in the state to take advantage of governments’ intervention to better their lots.
The information commissioner said that the Nasarawa state Government under the leadership of Gov Abdullahi Sule had evolved complementary interventions at the state level to reduce hardship on its citizens.
He said Gov. Sule in his commitment to the welfare of the poor had domesticated and sustained the conditional cash transfer of N10,000 monthly stipend to the most vulnerable indigenes of the state.
Angbolo said the state under the visionary leadership of Gov Sule had also established a world-class skills acquisition institute to cater to the needs of young people who desire to acquire a skill to enable them to become self-reliant.
He noted that the administration of Gov Sule had also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bank of Industry (BOI) and instituted N500 million Youth Revolving Fund Scheme for the young people to grow their businesses.
“Additionally, Gov Sule restores the payment of scholarships to indigenes of the state, ensuring that our youth have access to quality education and opportunities for growth.
“He has also prioritized agriculture and food security by distributing fertilisers and farm inputs to farmers at a subsidised rate,” he said.
He appealed to Nigerians to be supportive of the government at all levels as they work assiduously to navigate the present economic hardship being faced in the country.
“It is imperative for us, especially the youths and other critical stakeholders, to remain resilient and united, while the governments navigate through these challenging times,” he urged.
