Sensitive Amaterials are still being sorted out at the Karu Area Command, where the materials were kept Tuesday midnight.
Our investigation revealed that, materials got to Karu so late, and there was heated arguments on where the materials should be kept. While some stakeholders wanted it kept at the secretariat, others insisted it should be kept with the police command. In the end, those for the police had the day.
When Apex News Exclusive visited Karu Area command where the materials are kept, the electoral officers are already sorting out the materials for distribution.
But up to 10 am, they are yet to finish sorting out the materials. There are indications that voting will not commence on time.
