The Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Dr Labaran Magaji has pledged a robust collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of Government to attract more development to the state.

Magaji made this known while receiving the Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau on a visit to his office at the new State Secretariat Complex in Lafia.

Magaj, while appreciating the Speaker for the visit, said the visit was a demonstration of togetherness and a harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative arms of Government.

Magaji expressed his commitment to continue to make his impact felt in the development of Nasarawa state and beyond.

The SSG announced plans to publish a document titled “Constitution of Terrorism and other Complex Cases in Nigeria” noting that the publication, which will be the first of its kind in the country, aims to contribute to Nigeria’s legal system.

Earlier, Speaker Danladi Jatau commended the Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government for his style of leadership, noting that the wealth of experience brought to bear by the SSG would enhance the sustenance of good relationships between the two arms of Government.

Jatau, while expressing satisfaction with the pace of development in Nasarawa State under the leadership of Gov Abdullahi, assured of robust synergy between the Legislative and Executive arms towards leaving the state better than they met it.

The speaker Jatau was accompanied by the House Committee Chairman on public accounts, Mr Solomon Akwashiki, and others.
