Reading the rolling out the rules and regulation, Professor Mohammed said; “let me emphasize the fact that the university has zero tolerance for examination misconduct. It is therefore in your interest to engage yourselves in any act capable of being examination misconduct. If you do so, you are going to be shown the way out of the university.

“Secondly, we have zero tolerance for indiscipline. You cannot fight; you cannot contravene rules of the university in the class, in the hostels or anywhere in and around the campus.

“I also need to emphasize the fact that you cannot be a member of any unregistered student association, whether it is a cult group or any other illegal association. The matriculation oath makes it clear that you cannot join any illegal association. NSUK has zero tolerance for cultism; therefore you must desist from any other illegal association you don’t understand.

“Like every other university, in NSUK your graduation is predicated on the satisfactory performance in terms of character and learning. Even if you are the best student on earth but your character is not measuring up, I assure you that you cannot graduate from NSUK. Character for us is very important, and that is where you have to respect rules and regulations documented in the handbook distributed to you at faculty levels.

“You must avoid all acts of social vices that are capable of sending you out of the university or causing you severe problems”.
