The National President of Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, (NASME), Engineer Dr. Abdulrashid Yarima, has distributed items to beneficiaries from the six geopolitical zones in the country.
The event took place at NASME’s liaison office in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of NASME, Hon. Gadafi Mohammadu Asemanya Jnr.
Among items distributed are industrial sewing machines, sets of vulcanizing machines, welding inverter equipment, drilling machine, filling machine and vice, complete sets of welder equipments and sets of hairdressing equipments.
Dr. Yarima used the event to thank President Bola Tinubu for his visionary leadership qualities to take away Nigerians to create wealth and to be self employed through the items and equipment given through the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment.
The National President also thanked the Minister, Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite for her tireless efforts and supports provided NASME.
He equally appreciated the Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Nura Abba Rimi and his entire management and staff of the ministry for the tireless efforts.

The National President thanked all Council members, state chapter chairmen, chairpersons, women leaders and youth coordinator and all NASME members across the 774 local government council in the country for helping to reposition the association.
Dr. Yarima said his vision for NASME is to promote the economic growth, create jobs and empowerment of all financial members of the association who are up to date.
He promised to use his good office to reduce poverty and ensure enhanced service delivery that will be stimulating the growth of NASME members who will benefit from loans to grow their business across the country.
The statement said is working very hard in collaboration with the Bank of Industry to secure a loan facility of N1million each for 1000 members across the country with a very low interest rate of 9% and three months of grace period payable in three years.
