NASME President Dr. Yerima expresses gratitude over success of Summit

The National President, Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Dr. Abdulrashid Yerima has expressed gratitude to members and stakeholders in the subsector for the success to its 19th summit and exhibition held in Abuja.
The event held last Thursday brought together critical stakeholders and members from across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It was themed “Economic reforms and MSME development: Enhancing the competitiveness of our indigenous businesses.”
In a statement by NASME’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Gaddafi Mohammadu Asemanya Jnr, the President acknowledged the immeasurable contributions of the chairmen of the states and FCT for mobilizing their members who came in their numbers to attend the event.
He also noted the great enthusiasm of the chairmen at bringing exhibitors at the event.

According to the statement, the President stressed the key roles of partners at ensuring the success of the event.
They included the Bank of Industry, (BoI), Development Bank of Nigeria, (DBN), Bank of Agriculture (BoA) and Nigerian Export Import Bank, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), NAFDAC and Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMADC) and Alternative Bank amongst others.
He also appreciated the President Bola Tinubu for providing enabling environment for the upliftment of the SMEs subsector and the contribution of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment) Dr. Jumoke Oduwole and Senator John Owan Enoh, Minister of State, Trade and Investment (Industry).
