NATFORCE boss, Okereke commends directors over arrest of criminals

The Director General to Combat Illegal Importation of Small Arms Ammunition, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons and Pipeline Vandalism(NATFORCE) Chief Osita Okereke has commended directors of Taraba and Kogi states for their hardwork and vigilance.
As a result, they have arrested some kidnappers and hoodlums that usually make life unbearable for unsuspecting and innocent Nigerians in their respective states.
Chief Okereke gave the commendation while speaking to some journalists in his office about the situation report of his officers and men across the country in crime dictation and prevention.
According to NATFORCE boss, the report from Taraba state through its Director Mr.Sozing Shody has shown that over 10 criminals ranging from kidnapers, herdsmen, drugs dealers and cell phones snatchers among others were arrested in Karim-Lamido Local government areas of the state some days ago and handed over to the Police for more investigation and prosecution
According to our source, while all the suspects are currently facing trial in the court, some have been sentenced and are currently serving their jail terms.
Chief Okereke who further reiterated his organization’s readiness to stamp out criminals in the country said some hoodlums and kidnapers arrested by his men in Taraba were with fire arms.
In another development, Chief Okereke explained that his officers in Kogi State under the leadership of Mr Ali Haruna as director arrested some high profile human traffickers in the state long with their victims on their way to Libya.
He quoted the Kogi state director as saying that the ring leader of the crime had confessed under interrogation stating that the four ladies where to be delivered to their masters.
The female victims whose ages ranges from 26 to 27 years along with the trafikkers where all handed over to the police for safe keeping and possible prosecution.
He explained that further investigation on the matter is ongoing to fish out all the criminals element behind the crimes and their masterminds for possible arrest and eventual prosecution.
