Comrade Ameh James Adah was on Saturday sworn in as the President of the National Association of Idoma Students, (NAIS), in Otukpo ,Benue State, the headquarters of the Idoma Nation.
Amen polled 21 votes to defeat his opponent Enokela Maxwell who had 17 votes from the total 38 votes cast in the election conducted in Otukpo on the 4th of January 2022, where he was declared winner.
Friends and well wishers have been sending in their congratulatory message to the new NAIS President via email and social media posts, charging him to bring out the best out of the prestigious Association of Idoma students.
The President of the National Union of Benue Students, (NUBES), Comrade Ukah Anthony whom they are of the same institution sent his congratulatory message via his Facebook page : “Congratulations Nais Nat’l president elect Ameh James Adah.
It was a voice of Idoma students versus some so called stakeholders but the students won. I charge you not to fail the loud voice that echo yesterday at St Mary against all odds.
“God bless and direct you as lead the National association of Idoma students worldwide.”
The president elect is a 300 level student of Geography Department of University of Jos. Comrade James hails from Otukpa in Ogbadibo local government area.
