Hon. Bakura Kachalla Gaidam

Ahead of the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), youth groups in the North-East have endorsed the aspiration of Hon. Bakura Kachalla Gaidam (Galan) of becoming the next Zonal Youth leader of the party.
In a press statement signed and issued by Buba Abba made available to journalists in Damaturu, stated that, the move by the youth groups was seen as a determined effort to actualize their dreams ahead of the party’s forthcoming national convention.
Acccording to the statement, the move was in a swift response to the increasing number of loyal groups of supporters springing up across the country since the young man from Borno State accepted calls to run for the office.
The statement added that, “bringing together the various support groups across the country rooting for the young man has become necessary to properly coordinate their activities and programmes towards pushing candidacy to all the nooks and crannies of the country.”
However, ”We have gathered here to endorse our brothers, who is a colleague and political struggler. So, considering his versatile experience commitment, objectivity and sincerity, we officially endorse him once and for all.
“We are overwhelmed by the tumultuous support to Hon Bakura whose entry into the race has virtually changed the dynamics of the contest judging by the huge of confidence and backing which his candidacy has begin since.
“We are here to support one of us to represent youths in the national politics This is an opportunity for us to have a strong pillar in the nation’s politics, we hereby endorse Hon Bakura Kachalla for Zonal Youth Leader in the APC. We know him for his accountability and reliability. We know him as a leader.
“So we endorse him and assure him of our unflinching support to the advantage of youths, We hope that Northeast Governor’s and APC will consider our request and mandate him as Zonal Youths Leader.
“Let me tell you that, power and Authority is belongs to God. We thank God for this because it is only Almighty Allah that gives power to whomsoever He desires. We are touched that his acceptance is gaining ground by the day,” the statement said.
