The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, extends warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Nigeria and the diaspora on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He urged the Muslim faithful to continue living a sacrificial life by reaching out to the less privileged and the needy in society. This, he said, is in line with the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

This was contained in a statement by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission.

The NCPC Executive Secretary also emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony, encouraging Muslims to accommodate people of other faiths. He advised them to celebrate with moderation and be sensitive to the happenings around them.

Furthermore, Bishop Adegbite urged the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as an opportunity to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his administration. He expressed hope that the renewed hope agenda will yield positive outcomes for all Nigerians.

Bishop Adegbite also encouraged the Muslim faithful to promote peace in their communities. He highlighted that peace is essential for meaningful development and progress.

The NCPC boss expressed optimism that with the support and prayers of all Nigerians, the country will overcome its challenges and take its rightful place in the global community.
