NCPC Executive Secretary conveys President Tinubu, First Lady Remi felicitations at 14th Bayelsa annual thanksgiving

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, conveyed the goodwill message of President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, at the 14th Annual Thanksgiving Service organized by the Bayelsa State Government in collaboration with the State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Bishop Adegbite described Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State as a remarkable leader, a performing Governor, and a man of peace. He prayed that God would continue to bless the state and its people.

During the event, the NCPC boss also had an audience with Governor Diri, where he appealed for sponsorship of Christians from Bayelsa State to participate in the upcoming December Main pilgrimage exercise to the Holy Land.

The Governor assured him that he would sponsor a good number of Bayelsans to the Holy Land in the December NCPC Main pilgrimage exercise.

The NCPC boss was accompanied to Bayelsa State by other officials of the Commission, including Chief Weli Wosu, Federal Commissioner representing South South on the Board of the NCPC, Chief Clement Nweke, Federal Commissioner representing South East on the Board of the NCPC, Mr. Abu Okpanachi, Director of Administration, NCPC, Dr. Mrs. Irene Uhunmwangho, Director of Finance and Accounts, NCPC, Mr. Sunday Udeh, Director of Operations, NCPC, Celestine Toruka, Head of Media and Public Relations, NCPC, and Pastor Stephen Adewara, Personal Assistant to the Executive Secretary and Head of Protocol.
