NCPC Executive Secretary, Rev. Pam receives exceptional, quality leadership award from bishops

The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC), Rev. Dr Yakubu Pam has been conferred with Exceptional and Quality Leadership Award from the Coalition of Pentecostal Bishops.

The event took place at the NCPC head office in Abuja on November 30, 2023.
The NCPC boss in his remarks appreciated the Coalition of Pentecostal Bishops for finding him deserving of the award.

Senior Information Officer of NCPC, Godiya Mathew to Apex News Exclusive.

He said ,” he’s elated with the words of praise from the delegation.”
He disclosed that following his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Commission by former President Muhammad Buhari, he has since been faced with different challenges like COVID-19 pandemic and also the cessation of funding of pilgrimage from the federal government, but however he was able to successfully conduct six pilgrimage exercises from his assumption of duty till date.
Rev. Pam explained that the State of Israel is another crisis and that has affected the pilgrimage exercise to the State.

According to him, pilgrimage has become a spiritual retreat for Christians and that informs the reason for the Rome and Greece Pilgrimage exercise in 2024.

He disclosed that preparation are in top gear as the pilgrimage Leaders and managers would be going on a pre-visit to ascertain the preparedness for the coming Pilgrimage exercise.
He commended the body for being national conscious and solicited for their prayers for the Commission.
Leader of the delegation, Bishop (Dr.) Joseph Stanley expressed great delight to have the meeting with the Executive Secretary.
He disclosed that the forum has been in prayers for the nation, the president and also the Commission.

He said the Commission is the representative of the body of Christ in the nation as such it needs to be encouraged.
Bishop Joseph described the Executive Secretary as a man of high repute, a seasoned preacher of the word of God, a born leader sent by God.
