NECO Registrar loses father

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi has lost his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi.
Wushishi, a respected community leader in Niger State, passed away at 106.
The late Wushishi leaves behind a large family, including 12 children, 60 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
According to a statement by the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations at NECO, Azeez Sani, his funeral service has been held in accordance with Islamic traditions.
The statement said, “The death has occurred of Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi, a community leader in Wushishi local government area of Niger state. He was aged 106 years.
“Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi is survived by 12 children, 60 grand children and 15 great grand children, among whom is Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the Registrar/chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO).
He has been buried according to islamic rites. May Allah grant him Aljanah firdausi.
