Kano Governor Ganduje in the eye of the storm
There might be a new twist in the as a Kano State High Court presided over by Justice Nasiru Saminu has restrained Governor Abdullahi Ganduje from appointing four new emirs for the newly created emirates in the state.
It also ordered the Kano State Government to suspend any move for demarcating the new emirates pending the determination of case filed before it by the minority leaders of the Kano State House of Assembly.
The Minority Leader, Hon Rabi’u Saleh Gwarzo and Minority Whip, Hon Babangida Yusuf Sulaiman had challenged the procedures followed in creating the four emirates.
