NGO encourages excellent entrepreneurs in Bauchi with awards

A non governmental organization in Bauchi League of Entrepreneurs (LOE) has honoured different entrepreneurs in Bauchi State with awards to boost their morales to develop more.
Founder and President of the League, Bilkisu Abubakar Sambo said the essence of the event was to recognize the excellent performance of the Awardees, whom were carefully selected from family merchants, and business brand among others.
Bilkisu said, “the LOE is committed to changing the narrative of Bauchi State from a Salary state to business hub by providing assistance to both small and medium entrepreneurs”.
The LOE boss called on various business owners from small and medium entrepreneurs to come and venture into an initiative of investment box in order to improve their economic businesses and capacities.
She explained that any business venture that is registered with them will have many benefits as they will partner to attract funds in form of grants, soft loans, and other forms of support that the business may not necessarily achieve existing alone.
Speaking at the event, a Professor of business administration and management, Shehu Inuwa Galoji called on the LOE as local entrepreneurs to discourage patronage of manufactured soft drinks.
He argued that instead they should patronise locally produced ones with a view to boost local economy even as living standard in Nigeria keep getting higher.
The individuals recognised with awards include, the Managing Director, Albarka Radio Bauchi, Engineer Umar Ladan, the late Usman Dan Kyarana Family, Alhaji Sabo Gwaram family, A.A Waziri, Binta Farouk and Zulfa’u Danjuma among others as they shared their experiences as successful business owners to encourage others.
