Nigeria Christian Commission, Air Peace synergize on airlift of pilgrims to Israel

The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) and Air Peace have mutually agreed to synergize in the airlift of pilgrims to Israel.
The Executive Secretary of NCPC, Rev. Yakubu Pam and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Air Peace, Chief Allen Onyema spoke in Abuja Tuesday that they would partner to airlift pilgrims to and from Israel when the opportunity arises.
Chief Onyema on a courtesy call to the corporate headquarters of NCPC told his guest that Air Peace is seeking ways to collaborate with the commission to make it easy for the Nigerian pilgrims to be able to get closer to God with ease like is done elsewhere.
According to him, Air Peace knows the problems Nigeria Christian pilgrims have been encountering over the years and this is the right time to alleviate their problems.
Chief Onyema noted that the Israeli Government is very keen on having Air Peace do direct flights to Israel and have carried out 25 test flights in collaboration with Israeli Government.
He said everything is in top gear to get the landing permit where Air Peace can now fly twice a week for a start.
The CEO noted that Air Peace is willing to collaborate with the present NCPC regime to make sure Nigeria pilgrim enjoy smooth flights.
Rev. Pam also pointed out that the Commission will be happy to collaborate of Air Peace in the airlift venture.
According to him, bilateral talks are still ongoing between Nigeria and Israeli governments of direct airlifts between the two countries.
The Executive Secretary acknowledged the good services provided by Air Peace and are prompt with their flights.
He praised Chief Onyema for the evacuation of stranded Nigerians during the xenophobic attack in South Africa few years ago.
Both leaders also spoke about peaceful coexistence in the country with Chief Onyema pointing out that what is happening in Nigeria now is a fallout that we have abandon God.
He said instead of people seeking for morals, social media is teaching something else.
Describing Rev. Pam as a man of peace, Chief Onyema said without peace in the country, there wouldn’t be progress and called on youths to shun divisiveness and embrace peace.
On his part, Rev. Pam urged Nigerians to shun hatred and should not stop talking about peace.
