The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev Yakubu Pam has urged the youth to be agents of peace. He gave the advice in Jos on 1st May , 2021 at the day two of the Leadership and Peace Summit organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria, Plateau State Youth Wing.
He highlighted some of the qualities needed to be agents of peace such as wisdom, integrity, courage, commitment,forgiven spirit and tolerance.
He admonished the youth that trials of life is meant to equip man and not to discourage or bring him down . He charged them to see the travails of life as a springboard for greatness .
The Executive Secretary spoke on the topic,” The Christian Youth Leader:: Agent of Promoting peaceful co- existence and inter religious dialogue”
The two day event was aimed at conscientising the Christian youth on leadership and peace in the Plateau.
