Nigeria First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, NCPC Executive Secretary Bishop Adegbite receive Charismatic Meritorious Service Award

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, were honored with the Meritorious Service Award by the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) during their national Synod in Abuja on June 13, 2024.
Bishop Adegbite, who represented the First Lady virtually, commended the President-General of CBCN, Archbishop Prof. Leonard Kawas, for his support and applauded the organization for their backing of the present administration.

He expressed the First Lady’s appreciation for the award and reiterated the importance of partnership between NCPC and CBCN.

He emphasized the need for genuine dialogue to resolve the minimum wage issue and thanked the Bishops for their love and support.
Archbishop Kawas thanked Bishop Adegbite for his belief in CBCN and urged him to convey their love to the First Lady, acknowledging their partnership in progress and nation-building.
The highlight of the Synod was the presentation of the Meritorious Service Award to the First Lady and Bishop Adegbite.
