Preparations towards the commencement of 2022/2023 football season are on going as a team of inspectors arrived Elkanemi warriors Sports center Maiduguri to inspect the center.
Compliance department staff of the Nigeria Professional football league NPFL, Bunu Umar with his team of cameramen started their tour of facilities with the Football Association board room in the center.
accompanied by the officials of Elkanemi Warriors, the FA and stadium management the inspector straight went and inspected the main pitch of the lush green Elkanemi Warriors sports center, where the reserve benches, Referees bench and the score board were inspected.
The team went to the press stand, VIP and the popular sides of the stadium before checking the dressing rooms, flood lights, water reservoir and pumping machines of the stadium. The team also inspected the power house of the Center before they finally inspected the medical facilities of the club medical center.
The team was also at the club secretariat and club house which is one of the best in west Africa.
Speaking in an interview after the inspection, Bunu Umar of compliance department of the NPFL praised the management of Elkanemi for the maintenance culture exhibited in the facilities inspected. He said the transfer window will close at the end of the month and the league is expected to kick off soon.
He sounded a warning against any act of violence against match officials, visiting teams and all stake holders. He call on the management of Elkanemi to embark on sensitization excercize on the dangers of encroachment and violence during matches which will never be condone.
The warriors Sports Center has already taken shape for NPFL following the renovation works carried out by youth sports and poverty Alliviation commissioner, Hon. Sainna Buba.
Also speaking after the inspection Elkanemi warriors Fc Chairman Alhaji sheriff Bukar thanked Allah for seeing this day when our stadium is being inspected for the NPFL 2021/23 season. He praised the renovation efforts which made the center wear a new look.
He call on the media Officer of Elkanemi warriors Fc Alhaji Tahiru Bala to meet regularly with his new team of vibrant sports journalists which include coach Maina Ali aka Viera and Ali gaga to come up with more coordinated communications for Elkanemi warriors in the premier league.
