Nigerians beware of regional parties characterized by sectional bais with consequent leadership challenge and erosion of democratic values.
Unlike other political parties in Nigeria, Labour Party (LP) is not regional but a national party. LP is party of the professionals, artisans, farmers, youths, women, entrepreneur, civil servants, pensioners, downtrodden, talakawas and all segments of the society.
The conceptualization of LP drew leaders from various ethnic groups of the country, labour unions like TUC, NLC, NUJ.
The reason why self-centered politicians hate LP is that with the caliber of these credible people during decision making it will not be business as usual when individuals enrich themselves with funds from the common wealth of Nigeria on the detriment of the entire people, empoverished and underdevelop the country, deprivation, plunge the people into economic morass, poverty, hunger, disease and death.
LP upholds party discipline and internal democracy.
As Nigeria is on the threshold of another political despensation, support Labour Party to ensure the restoration of democratic values, security, peace, progress, prosperity, development and to secure the future of the youths and unborn generations.
