The crucial CAF Champions league group stage match between Al-Merrikh of Sudan and Al-Ahly of Egypt will be played on Friday 18/3/22 from 18:00 Hrs under the watchful eyes of the “Pride of Nigeria” NFF Executive committee member, Chairman Match Commissioners appointment Committee in Nigeria, Babagana Kalli.
The Borno State born former international and renowned football technocrat will use his wealth of experience to handle the crucial group A match in Al-salam Stadium Cairo.
The center referee to the match according to CAF appointment letter will be senegal’s Maguetta Ddiaye with 3 senegalese Compatriots as Ar1, 2 and fourth officials. The referee assessor will be Mfubusa Bennard from Burundi, while Egyptian,Beshoy Ibrahim Zaky will serve as COVID-19 officer in the match.
The important group A match has Mamelody Sundowns leading the group with 10 points while the three teams following Ahly, Hilal and Merrikh at the bottom had four points each.
Match number 109 is going to be tough considering the current group table.
