The North-East All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Solidarity front has advocated the need for the party to zone its presidential ticket to the north-west
The youth made their position known in jalingo while briefing newsmen.
Spokeman of the group, Paul Demshimeno said the issue of zoning is central looking at the population of the North adding that six states of the region is control by the ruling party,
Paul appealed to the National Working Committee, stakeholders as well as well as well meaning Nigerians to consider the presidential ticket to be zoned to North West citing that the region is densely populated with block votes yet suffer security set back, hunger and poverty.
He explained that the aim of the group is to canvas for youth participation in party politics and decision-making process as well as garner support for the party.
