The Northern Christian community in Anambra State has formally declared its support for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s bid for re-election, citing his inclusive governance and developmental strides across the State.

The endorsement took place on Sunday during a special service at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Amansea.

Speaking at the event, the leader of the Northern Christian community, Mr. Daniel Ibrahim Balami, announced that the group had unanimously agreed to back Soludo in the upcoming November 8 governorship election to ensure the continuation of his people-centered policies and projects.

Balami also appealed to the Governor to consider the construction of the 3-kilometre Amansea–Ugwu Oba Road, describing it as a crucial link that would boost economic and social activities in the area.

In a related development, the President of the Association of Non-Indigenes in Anambra State (ANIAS), Prince Chigozie Nweke, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to Governor Soludo’s re-election.

He disclosed that ANIAS, which boasts over 250,000 registered members with valid voter cards, has resolved to mobilize massive support for the Governor’s second-term ambition.

Nweke commended Soludo for his inclusive leadership style, particularly his decision to appoint non-indigenes into key positions in his administration.

He further praised the Governor for extending the “One Youth, Two Skills” empowerment initiative to non-indigenous residents, noting that the program has positively impacted many young people across the state.
