He noted that Major General AE Abubakar has performed tremendously well since his redeployment as the GOC 3 Division/Commander Operation Safe Haven in Plateau state.

He similarly donated food items worth millions of Naira to the victims of insurgency in Mangu local government area and some parts of Riyom local government in the recent attack in the state.”

The NYAN President added that, “Peace has been restored on parts of the Plateau. The Northern Youth Association of Nigeria is very proud of Major General Abubakar.”

Adams Bogoro assured that the Association will continue to partner with the Military to ensure that the relative peace the state now enjoys is maintained.

The Association explained that GOC 3 Division, Jos/Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General Abubakar has never for once, taken the welfare of Officers and Men of his Command for granted, as he is doing everything humanly possible to provide them with an enabling environment to operate.

The Association President further recalled that the General Officer Commanding the 3 Division recently took military Officers injured during the recent attack by bandits to Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) where he paid for their full medical treatment.

He then charged the Officers and Men in the Division to continue to support the GOC in his efforts to ensure peaceful coexistence in Plateau state in particular and others under the Division as a whole.
