NPFL Club owners get N200m from NFF ahead Pro league season

The Chairman of Nasarawa United FC cum NPFL Club Owners’ Association, Chief Barrister Isaac Danladi(1st Right) joined President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau, to receive a dummy cheque of N200m presented by Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, partners, GTI, in Abuja on Thursday, 5th January, 2023, ahead of the commencement of the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League Season this weekend.

The sum will see each of the twenty NPFL Clubs receiving N10 million as start-up subvention.

Akwa United versus Bendel Insurance will herald the curtain raiser of the new league on Sunday, 8th January, 2023, in abridged format while other Groups’ games will hold on 15th January across the country.

According to Eche Amos, Media Officer,
Nasarawa United FC, Lafia his club will play host to visiting Enyimba FC of Aba.
