Chief of Staff to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Ibrahim Gambari has said, Nasarawa State University, Keffi is already on her way to a milestone of becoming a leader in state universities in Nigeria.
The Chief of Staff who was at the university on Monday as Special Guest of Honour for the commissioning of tripartite mega projects described the occasion as not only historic but also a major landmark and a great leap forward to the institution in its steady march towards attaining its status as a leader in state universities in Nigeria.
Projects commissioned by the Chief of Staff were; University Senator Building, Keffi Main Campus; General Engineering Workshop, Faculty of Engineering, Gudi Campus; and WHO/Uniklinikum Institute of Molecular Diagnostic & Disease Control, Keffi Center.
Expressing his commendation to the management of the university council, under the leadership of Professor Bala Mohammed, the Vice Chancellor of NSUK, Prof. Gambari said, it takes leadership with vision to attain such indelible feat. He equally commended the administration of Engr. Abdullahi Sule for giving priority to education in general and the university, in particular.
The former Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations who was visiting the university for the third time said he has special affinity with the university.
