The Convener of New Nigeria Group (NNG) and a leading Presidential Aspirant, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa has felicitated with the Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the successful conduct of State Congress of the party at the weekend.
Ohuabunwa in a goodwill message, noted that the peaceful conduct of the congress is a clear sign that PDP is ready to take over Lagos State come 2023.
He tasked the new party executives to see their emergence “as a call to duty in the task of ensuring that PDP triumphs at the polls in 2023.”
Ohuabunwa therefore urged the new party leadership in the state to “further unite all PDP faithfuls ahead of 2023 general elections, adding that “it is now time to go all out and reconcile all aggrieved members of our party so that together, we can begin the process of building. a new Nigeria of equal opportunities for all.”
The Convener of NNG assured the newly elected members of the SWC of PDP of his commitment to join hands with them in “making PDP the political party of first choice that will pilot the affairs our our dear Lagos State from the Marina House, come 2023”.
He further noted that “Nigerians across religious, ethnic and social divide are all looking up to PDP for political and economic emancipation come 2023”.
According to him, PDP “cannot afford to fail Nigerians at this critical hour in our nation’s history”.
