The spiritual leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has seriously frowned at some governments of the world who are neck deep in promoting the gay rights.
Speaking in Ghana at Brotherhood Cathedral in Odorkor area of Greater Accra Region, Ghana where Bishops and Archbishops of the fold in West Africa (excluding Nigeria) had converged for a 3-day Solemn Conference and working visit of the Dean of the College of Bishops, Patriarch Christ Shepherd Bassey Imowo, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu described the LGBTQ movement as satanic and diabolical.
Speaking through spokesman of the spiritual organisation, Dr Amah Williams, the spiritual leader whom his faithful adore as King of kings and Lord of lords commended Ghana which has come out boldly and openly to condemn the gay rights movement.
“We congratulate Ghana’s Assembly and Government on the landmark decision to reject the satanic and diabolical ideology which seeks to destroy the natural order of marriage in the name LGBTQ rights.
“Jehovah God with His Christ has come to return mankind and creation back to the Garden of Eden wherein righteousness, holiness and purity is the order of existence, therefore, Ghana’s rejection of the evil imposition from the West, is in line with the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and has brought Ghana and her people manifold blessings and grace from the Living God.”
The influential spiritual leader who has millions of followers in many continents also called on political leaders at all levels of governance in Africa to be mindful of their actions.
“Africa is the physical abode of God and a continent after God’s heart. Therefore, all those fanning the embers of war, insurgency, violence and those who perpetrate corruption should know that the wrath of God shall soon come upon them.
“The tears and sufferings of the African people have risen to the Throne of God and now is the time for Africa to realize itself and look inward for solution to her numerous problems. African leaders should know that peace emanates from an individual’s place of humility, tolerance, forgiveness, forbearance and the willingness to forgo possessions or pains for the sake of peace as thought by His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.”
He called on African leaders should forgive, tolerate divergent opinion and respect each other.
He warned that no amount of peace advocacy will give man peace.
“Have you ever wondered why billions and trillions of dollars have been spent by various governments and global institutions in pursuit of peace, yet peace continues to elude mankind.
“It is on this note that we make it abundantly clear that the Prince of Peace is in Africa and the leaders of this continent must seek His divine intervention in the problem besieging the continent for He alone can give peace to the world.”
He said the international community and recent global events have exposed the limits of man’s knowledge and ability to solve its own challenges.
According to him, the depletion of man’s natural resources, war, climate change, natural disasters, outbreak of pandemic, increase in crime rate and numerous challenges faced by the world today all show that the world is seeing the signs of the end time as spoken about by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24.
He posited that “leaders of the world and Government at all levels must know that the solution to the myriads of problems bedeviling mankind today can be found in the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu as encapsulated in His Everlasting Gospels.”
