One of the Coordinators of the support groups for the 2023 presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu known as ‘LOBITO 4 ASIWAJU’, Habu Mamman has lamented that Nigerians have now made the candidate to have many ages just to smear his political personality.
Habu Mamman who spoke to Journalists during the official inauguration of the support group in Bauchi said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is strong enough to lead the country and bring out needed development through his protégés who are spread across the country.
According to him, “This is someone, who has more capacity than I do. People should not continue to de-market our candidate because of his age. Look at the United States President, he’s 74 years old; is he not ruling them?
Habu Maman lamented that,”Bola Tinubu now has multiple ages; some people say he is 90, 80 and others say he is more than that. What does age got to do with mental alertness and stability to lead? Our candidate is healthy and strong enough to lead this country”.
He then vowed that he and his team would work hard to disabuse the minds of many Bauchi electorate on the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu and former Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima stressing that what is required is the capacity and ability to administer governance.
Habu Mamman, who claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari emerged from the LOBITO group, said that it has also endorsed Bola Tinubu to lead the country after Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
He believes that Tinubu is more qualified than any other candidate saying, “We are going to sell him (Tinubu) to the rural dwellers through our Lobito that Maigaskiya (Buhari) emerged from here and this is a continuation of our struggle,”.
He said that, “We don’t have fear because among the present crops of politicians in the country, it is only Bola Tinubu who has stooges all over, they are working for him because they want to pay him back for the good he has done for them in life”.
Engineer Habu Mamman further explained that LOBITO is a Close in Abuja where the political movement for President Muhammadu Buhari started many years ago before he eventually emerged President in 2015.
According to him, “The LOBITO movement is an offshoot of the former movement which will eventually lead to victory for Bola Tinubu in the 2023 General elections in sha Allah. The members are spread across the country and will work assiduously for his victory”.
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu support group known as LOBITO Group 4 Asiwaju was inaugurated in Bauchi with assurance that members of the group will engage in door – to – door campaign at the grassroots drum up support for the APC presidential candidate.
The inauguration was held on Wednesday at the Double 4 Event Center, members of the support group were drawn from all the 20 LGAs in the state as well as the political wards and polling units.
Local council coordinators were introduced to take the Tinubu gospel to every nook and cranny of the state.
