Ortom appoints 13 new advisers
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has appointed 13 new Special Advisers in order to inject freshness into his administration.
Ortom had on July 8 this year sacked 12 of his special advisers and retained seven of them at the wake of his return to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
The newly appointed advisers are; Sanwua Tarnogo, Jerome Tar, Rev. Samuel Ivartse, Dr. Terghter Ayargwer, Austin Okoh, Dr. Bem Melladu and Paul Iyajir.
Others include; Rev. Jacob Ayerni, Okoh Achegbulu, Jacob Oguwche, Rev. Joseph Ogezi, Alhaji Isah Usman and Peter Otakwu.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Tony Ijohor, the newly appointed special advisers would be sworn into their various offices Thursday by the governor. (Daily Trust)
