Papal Nuncio meets new Catholic Secretariat secretary

The Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria, Most Rev. Michael Francis Crotty, received a courtesy visit from the new Secretary General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN), Very Rev. Fr. Michael Ayanleke Banjo.
Fr. Banjo, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Michael Nsikak Umoh, National Director of Social Communications, and Very Rev. Fr. Babangida Peter Audu, Director of Church and Society/Executive Secretary, Caritas Nigeria, on Tuesday, described the meeting as highly significant, facilitating a productive exchange with the Nuncio on strengthening collaboration between the CSN and the Nunciature.
“The meeting was fruitful, as the Nuncio was engaging and forthcoming in dialogue,” Fr. Banjo noted.
The visit included the presentation of CSN publications highlighting the activities and communiques of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN).
The Nuncio expressed his appreciation for the visit and offered his continued prayers and support.
