Parents excited as wards benefit from scholarship, training by Hon. Akims Mamot

An aspirant for the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency in Plateau State, Hon. Akims Mamot James is set to graduate the first set of his catering school scholarship.

He announced this in a press release he signed and made available to our correspondent in Jos, Plateau state. 

This,  he said was because of the passion he nurse for the less privileged and particularly the vulnerable girl-child in the society. 

In what he calls ” Safe the girl child by A GANI A KASA MOVEMENT” he stressed it Mark’s another success recorded in his political career in which 15 girls from Mangu and Bokkos towns are trained under his scholarship scheme.

This, he added, will enable them have a coordinate future that is self sustainable and making them fit to live for themselves, even as he drew the attention of other philanthropists to give back to the society. 

The girls where pick across Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency and were fully sponsored with both accommodation, feeding, stipends to ease and make learning and living during the program a comfortable one.

The Beneficiaries will be inducted into becoming chefs and also them automatically suitable for employment  or even become employers of labour as a result of their handworks.

Some parents of the beneficiaries were excited by the gesture as they say it was a thing of joy that such a burden was taken off them by the young man.
