The People’s Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala A. Mohammed, felicitates with Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, as he turns 54 years of age.
A statement by the Director General of the Forum, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo in Abuja, members of the family, friends and the people of Taraba State at home and in diaspora in thanking Almighty God for the love and care, guidance and protection in private and public life of the Governor.
The Forum says it is proud of the significant strides of his administration over the years in the areas of education, healthcare service delivery, culture and tourism, security stabilization, foreign and local investments, agriculture and agro-based prioritization, MSME promotion, civil service reforms and improved staff welfare, wages as well as empowerment of women and youths, amongst others.
It notes that the Free and Compulsory Education Policy of the Governor and its implementation from primary to secondary school levels, has significantly increased school enrollment and reduced the number of out-of-school children, making Annual Convocations in all tartiary institutios mandatory in the State to promote timely graduation ceremonies and reinforce academic standards.
The statement adds that the Governor attracted Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in the Mining and Agriculture through consistent drive and cooperations thereby creating job opportunities, developing talent, skills and ICT via digital literacy programs, and empowering small businesses to reach a broader dimension.
The Forum further lauds the Infrastructural enhancement and road networks drive of Governor Kefas which transformed the landscape of Taraba State and improved connectivity and accessibility positively impacting on the lives of the people.
They say the revamped healthcare sector in Taraba State has ensured quality and accessible healthcare to all residents of Taraba State who equally enjoy robust security measures safeguarding the well-being of citizens and maintain peace and unity in the State.
The Forum pray to Almighty God to bless Governor Kefas with more grace and fortitude to continue to lead Taraba State to greater heights, wishing him a happy birthday.
