PDP National Chairmanship: Dr. Salawu visits former Senate President David Mark

In furtherance to consultations in his aspiration to becoming the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Phillips Salawu has paid a visit to the former Senate President, His Excellency, Senator David Mark.

The visit took place at the residence of the former Senate President in Abuja on Thursday.

Dr. Salawu, a former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, has been visiting key stakeholders from the North-Central geopolitical Zone to seek their support in becoming the National Chairman of the PDP.

The North-Central geopolitical Zone is to produce the substantive National Chairman of the party to complete the tenure of Dr. Iyorchia Ayu which ought to have ended by December 2025.

Besides, Dr. Salawu also visited consulted Alhaji Sule Lamido, a former Governor of Jigawa State and chieftain of the PDP.
