PDP presidential aspirant, Mazi Ohuabunwa urges Muslim Ummah to pray for Nigeria at Ramadan

The main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s top contender for the president of Nigeria come 2023, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa has charged all Muslim Ummah to use the month of Ramadan to pray for Nigeria to overcome her numerous challenges.
Ohuabunwa in a message to Muslim community at the commencement of the month Ramadan asked Muslim faithfuls to seek God’s intervention for the country to over come the challenges of insecurity, weak economy, corruption and bad leadership.
According to statement by the Media Team of Ohuabunwa, the presidential hopeful admonished Muslim faithfuls that, as a season for prayers, fasting and almsgiving, the window opportunity to obtain God’s mercies.
Ohuabunwa, who is also the Convener of the New Nigeria Group (NNG), noted that the season is coming at the most challenging time of Nigeria’s history, which required prayers and sober reflections.
Ohuabunwa stated that, at this challenging time, Nigeria needs leaders with good morals and a God fearing heart, and urged Muslims to pray earnestly to God, to give Nigeria leaders that have the interests of people at heart, capable of enthroning the new Nigeria of the people’s dream as well as pray for the success of the coming general elections.
The NNG Convener expressed strong optimism that if given the opportunity to lead the country, a new Nigeria that works for all would be enthroned.
He therefore urged Nigerians to join him in his quest to turn Nigeria into a first world where it truly belonged in view of it’s numerous potentials.
