Senator Emmanuel Bwacha

Members of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners in Taraba State have thrown their weight and support to the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections Senator Emmanuel Bwacha.
The pensioners expressed their total support to the Governorship candidate when representatives of the Union from the sixteen Local Governments of the state paid a solidarity visit to the officials of Bwacha Tan an Advocacy Organization for the success of Senator Bwacha in the Governorship election in 2023 in the state at the Bwacha Campaign Organization Office in Jalingo.
Speaking during the solidarity visit Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) in Taraba State Yusuf Salihu Sansani said they were in Bwacha TAN’s office to officially indicate their support to the candidature of Senator Emmanuel Bwacha assuring that pensioners and their families will massively cast their votes to Senator Bwacha come 2023.
Yusuf Salihu Sansani regretted that pensioners in the State have been having series of serious challenges over as over one thousand retirees who bowed out of service from one to ten years are not yet enrolled for pension talk more of their gratuity this category of pensioners are the worst hit many have died without enjoying the fruits of their labour others
are suffering from various ailments without any means of medication some ejected from their rented houses and their children sent out of school because they can no longer fend for their families as a result of the nonchalant attitude of the present administration in Taraba State towards their plights.
The PRO said the backlog of gratuity in the State is getting to N40billion because gratuity was last paid to pensioners who retired in 2010 while 33 percent pension increase and other benefits approved for pensioners by the Federal Government and implemented in most States but are put into the cooler in Taraba State.
He said Officials of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners in the State have tried their best to make the State Government to understand the predicaments of their members but all theirs pleas were ignored. The Taraba State NUP PRO explained that Pensioners in the state decided to support Senator Bwacha because of his wealth of experience as a member of the State House of Assembly, a Commissioner, member House of Representatives and a three times Senator and above all his humility as well as selfless service to humanity which touched the lives of majority of the people in the State and expressed optimism that with all this great fits in his kitty when Senator Bwacha assumed the mantle of leadership in Taraba State he will “remove the fats of Pensioners from the burning fire”.
Adding his voice, State Auditor of the NUP Adamu Aliyu alias Kata described the Governorship ambition of the APC flag bearer as a done deal because he has all it takes of holding the exalted of office of the Governor saying that pensioners in the state have already zeroed their minds to massively cast their votes to Senator Emmanuel Bwacha.
On his part, the Trustee one of the State NUP, Bako Abba also duffed the hats of pensioners in the state for the magnanimity of the APC flag bearer, his straightforwardness and open handedness pointing out that with his track record the candidate has already won the Governorship election in Taraba State.
In his comments, Secretary of NUP in Karim Lamido Local Government, Jonathan David Atashi said with the name of the Advocacy Organization as Bwacha Tan meaning “only Bwacha” in fulfulde and meaning “eat in his local dielect the Jenjo the Senator has already clinched the Governorship seat in the State.
Taraba State Coordinator Women gender of the NUP, Mrs. Nizenum Apolos expressed the support of all women Pensioners in the State who are feeling most of the brunt in the predicaments of pensioners which is caused by the absolute neglect by the State Government.
Responding the founder Bwacha Tan, Abdulrazak Mohammed Umar commended pensioners in Taraba State for their support to the APC Governorship flagbearer describing Senator Bwacha as the best candidate than those in other political parties who can bring Taraba State out of the woods and solicted for the support of all Tarabans for new Dawn in Taraba State.
In his remarks, the State Coordinator Bwacha Tan, Ubaida Usman also thanked the pensioners for a good choice and I plegded to pass their message of support to the candidate Senator Bwacha.
Prayers were offered for the success of Senator Bwacha for next year’s election to climax the occasion.
