Plateau state government has expressed delight with the harmonious working relationship with the media.

Commissioner of Information and Communication, Dan Manjang disclosed this during an interactive meeting between the members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), and the state governor, Simon Lalong.

According to him, the fact that the state and the media has had cause to disagree at some point, these hiccups must be overlooked by the government because the media has been up and doing.

He recalled that the state organised media tour was a pointer where the media justified it’s strong partnership with the state as the remaining the major beneficiary of the media.

“The Lalong Legacy Projects we visited was to lay to rest the rumours making rounds that the administration has nothing to celebrate since we came on board and am glad the various media practioners have come face to face with the legacy projects and can testify that the administration has paid its dues ” he said.

According to him, all these was achieved because of the return of peace in the state which must be commended by all stakeholders.
