Swearing in of new local government chairmen takes place at Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos

After successful Local Government elections held throughout the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau State on Saturday, 9th October 2021 and the subsequent presentation of certificates of return to the winners by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), his Excellency, Governor Simon Bako Lalong will perform the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chairmen tomorrow, Monday 11th October 2021.
The event is to hold by 11am at the Victoria Gowon Hall of the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos.
According to a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State, COVID-19 protocols will be strictly observed at the swearing in.
