Plateau Ministerial nominee, Dr. Doro visits Senator Lalong
Ministerial nominee from Plateau State, Dr. Barnard Mohammed Doro, has visited the Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, to express appreciation for his support and to assure the party of his commitment to justify the confidence reposed in him by President Bola Tinubu.
Dr. Doro, who was accompanied to Senator Lalong’s Abuja residence by some supporters and associates, said he was humbled by his nomination, which he described as an opportunity to contribute to Nigeria’s development and advance the cause of Plateau State.
He commended Senator Lalong for his visionary leadership and steadfast mentorship, which, according to him, have produced many capable leaders who continue to excel across the nation.
The Ministerial nominee pledged to make the Plateau APC family proud by serving diligently and honestly while working to ensure the full realization of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In his remarks, Senator Lalong expressed delight that the President had recognized the contributions of Nigerians in the diaspora to the APC and to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda. He said the appointment of Dr. Doro was not only based on competence but also on his consistent service to the APC both abroad and at home.
Also speaking, Hon. Fom Dalyop, Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, commended Senator Lalong for his role in keeping the party united and ensuring that Plateau North remains well represented.
He assured Dr. Doro of the support and prayers of Plateau members of the National Assembly, pledging to work closely with him to ensure success.
APC Chieftain Gyang Zi, SAN, also lauded President Tinubu for the appointment, noting that the people of Plateau North and the entire state would rally around Dr. Doro to enable him to succeed.
Similarly, a member of the Nigerians in Diaspora (UK), Dr. Bonat Dauda, expressed profound appreciation for the appointment of one of their own, describing it as a validation of their contributions to the party and the nation.
