Plateau Our Heritage Revival Initiative celebrates members on recent appointments

The appointment of two of its erudite members into key positions in the service of the Plateau State government has elicited commendation by the
Plateau Our Heritage Revival Initiative (POHri).
The socio-cultural and non profit organisation said in a statement that the appointments of Prof. Christopher Yilgwan and Hon. Mrs Helen Dabup, by Governor Caleb Mutfwang has proven these and many other appointments indicate the government was ready for a turn around.
Prof. Yilgwan is now the Chief Medical Director (CMD) Plateau State Specialist Hospital and Mrs. Dabup is Executive Secretary, Plateau State Local Government Service Pension Board.
The POHri is a statement signed by Hon. Alex Kwapnoe and Comrade Friday Bako, its chairman and Secretary respectively, appreciated the Governor for finding them and others worthy of these appointments with the hope that they will justify same with optimal performance.
Describing the appointments as “well deserved” it challenged the appointees to bring to bear their wealth of experience and skills to serve meticulously and diligently to justify the Governor’s trust.
The POHri said it was optimistic that they will do it proud as good Ambassadors by toying the line of good administrators that wish the state good at this anxious period.
Prof. Yilgwan until his appointment was a Consultant Paediatrician with the Jos University Teaching Hospital, (JUTH) and was at a time, the chairman of the Plateau State Chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA).
Mrs. Dabup on the other hand is a retired Permanent Secretary in the state and she is also, a member of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS).
While congratulating them, it charged them to settle down for the tasks ahead.
