It is now an open secret that the EVIL TRINITY within the current NWC of the PDP, namely the Acting National Chairman Umar Iliya Damagum, the National Secretary Anyanwu, and the National Organizing Secretary, Umar Bature held a nocturnal meeting with the PDP State Chairmen in the night of Tuesday 19th of November 2024 in an Abuja FCT hotel during which Dollar bribes ($10,000 to each chairman) were offered to those chairmen present at the night meeting.
The main purpose of the bribe was to induce the chairmen to pass a vote of confidence on the leadership of Damagum at the next day meeting of the chairmen with the larger NWC and possibly at the next NEC meeting of 28th November 2024. The chairmen were also induced to support the proposal of Damagum’s continuity as the Acting National Chairman till December 2025 when Damagum will also seek for a fresh mandate for another 4-year new tenor.
Damagum and his cohorts had earlier been implicated in various Treasonable Offences against the party. Damagum was spotted in London having confidential meetings with Opposition party leaders and uptill now, he has not denied the serious allegation.
Damagum and his secretary have written letters to the Courts twice, against the laid down procedures, the implications of such letters being aimed to impeach a PDP serving Governor in Rivers State.
These are Capital Political Offenses that must not go unpunished, they are Treasonable Crimes, very serious ones for that matter.
The inept, illegal and illegitimate leadership of Damagum and his Evil Trinity Members, have been responsible for the mass decamping to the opposition party, APC, from our party, PDP, and consequently led to the serious defeats of PDP in the concluded off-season Gubernatorial elections in Imo, Kogi, Edo and Ondo States.
Our insider sources maintained that the invited PDP State Chairmen failed to carry out the biddings of the Evil Trinity and therefore were unable to pass the requested vote of confidence on the inept and irresponsible leadership of the Evil Trinity.
The Evil Trinity however have a number of plots that should be made known to the Critical Stakeholders of the PDP so as to prepare very well to counter them as they emerge.
The followings are the various plots, as per our insider sources, that had been instituted by Damagum and members of his Evil Trinity, against the progress and stability of our great party, PDP:
To financially induce in a hard currency, the PDP North Central Zonal Leadership and instruct it NOT to hold the Zonal Caucus or Exco meeting for the purpose of selecting the replacement candidate to Senator Iyorchia Ayu. A sum of $1m was made available for such heinous misadventure and this had been properly and adequately delivered!
The North Central GeoPolitical Zonal leadership has therefore sold the birth right of the region for a morsel of bread, what a people, what a useless and a worthless leadership, what an embarrassment. Those involved in this Treasonable act will pay for it in due course, make no mistakes!
The Evil Trinity has instructed the North Central Zonal leadership that their Caucus or Exco meeting must not be called and that if they are eventually pressurized to call the said meetings, they will be given additional financial mobilizations for the North Central Leadership to enforce some resolutions that the zone should forget its bid for the National Chairmanship as the time is too short and that the zone should now accept the position of the Deputy National Chairman, North, in consolation; what an embarrassing offer to the good people of North Central GeoPolitical zone!
It must be stated here that any North Central person that goes ahead in light of these delicate circumstances to accept a Deputy position instead of the substantive position, does so at his permanent and irreversible political ruin, make no mistakes!
The embarrassment situation in the North Central Zone is akin to a warfare simulation in which a group of lions is being led by a he-goat against a group of he-goats being led by a lion.
In such a paradoxical situation, a defeat is imminent for the group led by a he-goat. This is exactly our political situation now in the North Central GeoPolitical zone.
Damagum’s Evil Trinity has also plotted the possibility of postponing the next NEC meeting of Thursday 28th November 2024 where they will generate some reasons to support the proposed postponement.
This plot is very feasible because the NoS that is expected to issue out the 28th November NEC meeting circular is yet to do so at the close of business on Thursday 21st November 2024, seven days to the date of the NEC meeting!
Damagum and other members of his Evil Trinity are also contemplating the idea of NOT attending the Jos meeting of the select Critical Stakeholders of the PDP in which they are duly invited. By their Non-attendance, they argued that they will not be bound by the resolutions at the Jos meeting.
Their last plot is that in the event that the NEC meeting of 28th of November is forced to be held, the Evil Trinity would count on the briberies they had offered and would offer to help them secure a vote of confidence on their evil and inept leadership. They also planned not to have any point in the meeting’s agenda for the selection of a replacement to Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
HOW TO COUNTER THESE EVIL PLOTS AGAINST PDP:
The PDP Patriotic, Critical Stakeholders such as the Loyal Members of the PDP Governors’ Forum, the PDP NASS Caucus, the BoT Members, the NWC and NEC members, should summon courage and do the following needfuls:
1. Ensure that the NEC Meeting is convened by applying the relevant sections of the PDP Constitution that allow the calling of the Extra-Ordinary Meeting of NEC by obtaining 2/3 signatures of the NEC Members.
2. Arrange the alternative venue of such Extraordinary NEC meeting preferably in the compound of a serving PDP Governor’s Lodge in Abuja FCT where all the security arrangements will be perfected. The INEC must be duly informed to be in attendance to observe the proceedings of the meeting.
3. At the Extraordinary NEC meeting that is now duly and constitutionally convened, the circular should call all the aspirants of North Central origin, for the position of the Substantive National Chairman of the PDP, to be in attendance at such Extraordinary NEC meeting.
4. At the meeting, nominations of candidates from the North Central GeoPolitical zone seeking for selection into the office of the Substantive National Chairman of PDP are made and the nominations must include all those who have indicated through campaigns, their interests in the position of the National Chairman of the Party. The candidates may each, be given a time period of five minutes to make presentations to the NEC in defence of their candidacies.
5. A Credible Voting Exercise is carried out to SELECT the winning candidate who will be sworn-in immediately to takeover the mantle of leadership of our great party, PDP.
6. The newly selected National chairman of PDP is led to the Wadata Plaza, the PDP National Secretariat, the following working day, by all the loyal PDP Governors and PDP NASS Members, to assume office as the Substantive National Chairman of PDP.
7. The Newly selected National Chairman takes over and addresses the World Press Conference in the Main Hall, in the presence of the loyal PDP Governors and Members of the NASS.
8. The newly selected National Chairman is therefore legally installed on the subsisting Supreme Court judgment that says a court has no business in the internal management of a Political party, except where human rights are infringed upon. Damagum’s human rights and those of his members in the Evil Trinity are not tampered with and therefore the newly selected National chairman of PDP will be legally installed by this arrangement that is anchored on the existing Supreme Court Judgment and pronouncement.
9. The newly selected National Chairman of PDP will later quickly take the necessary legal steps within weeks, to vacate all the obnoxious court injunctions obtained by Damagum and his Evil Trinity Members, to perpetuate themselves in office to continue to cripple the progress of our party, PDP.
Only the newly selected National Chairman of the PDP can take the required necessary steps to vacate such obnoxious court injunctions obtained by Damagum’s proxies in favor of Damagum.
Damagum will never take any steps to vacate such obnoxious court injunctions that are all in his favor. This is how he, Damagum, had temporarily trapped the PDP and put our great party in his small pocket, but this trap can be neutralized in the manner suggested, the Evil Trinity Members are not gods, they are mere mortals, they can be neutralized!
10. This is the perfect way to deal with the current deadlock in the PDP leadership crisis if Damagum and cohorts remain adamant and insensitive to the feelings of the Nigerian people, enough should be enough!
Damagum, his other members in the Evil Trinity and their sponsors are not gods, they can be neutralized and they must be neutralized, they have gone too far and had reigned too long in messing up the affairs of our great party, PDP.
The Chairman of the PDP Governors’ forum, the Chairman of the PDP BoT, their Secretaries or Deputies, and Members of the PDP NASS Caucus, must work closely together to recover our party from these irresponsible individuals and their sponsors.
They must be bold and be courageous to give the required leadership at this crucial moment in the history of our great party, PDP.
However, if they fail the people of Nigeria to provide the required leadership, the PDP may be dead after 28th November 2024, but they too will pay heavily for their actions or inactions, it is simply the natural law of KARMA that respects nobody and will deal with them, make no mistakes!
A good leadership is tested at crisis period and we already have such crisis in our hands.
We must all abandon our individual selfish interests to save and reclaim our party from the control of the Evil Trinity and their sponsors. Their inglorious reign must end on the 28th of November 2024, they have pushed the people of Nigeria to the wall, our elastic limit had been fully exhausted, there is no more where to shift grounds, ENOUGH is ENOUGH!
