Police Command strengthens ties with journalists in Adamawa for peace, progress

The Adamawa State Police Command have reaffirmed its commitment in collaborating with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council.

This is coming during a courtesy visit by the NUJ delegation to the State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris at the Command Headquarters in Yola, the Capital.

Leading the delegation was by the NUJ State council Chairman, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan.

At the meeting, the chairman highlighted the importance of continued synergy between the two institutions in maintaining law and order in the state.

The NUJ pledged its support and cooperation with the Police Command in ensuring a safer Adamawa.

The Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, expressed appreciation for the visit and assured journalists of the Command’s readiness to sustain and improve the existing rapport.

CP Sambo emphasized that collaboration with the media is vital for effective policing and the overall development of the state.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed mutual commitment to peace and progress for public good through strengthened cooperation.
