Barely 4 hours after 3 thieve who accosted their unsuspecting victims and disposed them of their personal belongings at Nkpor junction were burnt to ashes at the said junction,
A Police son, popularly known as Ratti and one of his gang were on Saturday also burnt beyond recognition for robbing their victims of their belongings with tricycle popularly known as Keke.
Traveling the hoodlums to ‘thy kingdom come’ in a jungle justice way at Minaj Bus Stop, Obosi -Nkpor Road, Obosi Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
An eyewitness account said the Police son and his gang were arrested by some youths when the criminals were robbing their victims at T-Junction, around Minaj village, Obosi where their tricycle was burnt down on the spot while the local champions were paraded to Obosi – Nkpor Road where they were burnt alive.
It was gathered that the bandits have been terrorizing Obosi – Nkpor Road up to Nkpor junction and the back of Army Barracks, Onitsha, but luck was said to have run against them as they met their waterloo when the angry mob took the laws into their hands and set the Police son and his gang ablaze.
Recall that Obosi Youths had within last week took to all major roads in the Community chatting war song as a notice to criminals to vacate the Community or risk being burnt alive.
Our sources said the Policeman whose son was burnt beyond recognition is allegedly serving at Delta State Police Command and efforts made to contact the said Policeman to ascertain the authenticity of our source’s claim failed as nobody agreed to make his number available.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu said his office was yet to get the full details of the incident as at the time of filling this report, even as he promised to get back to our correspondent as soon as the full details of the incident, get to his table.
